This was just another fun day at the Santa Cruz Wharf. We go there fairly often, and sometimes to the Boardwalk. The Crack was good this day.

This was another brilliant camping trip, in Gold Country, Amador County, CA, in the Sierra Madres Foothills. Had fun at Lake Tabeau, thereabouts Mt. Zion State Park, and wine and ranch country. Panned for gems and gold at Black Chasm: Got a few small emeralds, iron pyrite of course, and pretty quartzes such as raspberry quartz.
We camped at Jellystone – Fun place, nice bathrooms/showers, good wifi signal to the campsites, nice swimming pool, arcade room, general store, lodge, etc. Neat old general store in Pine Grove.

This camping trip was on the California Coast, north of Santa Cruz, from the Año Nuevo State Reserve, Costanoa, tide pools near Pescadero, Pidgeon Point Lighthouse, to Half Moon Bay. Stunning, magnificent, gorgeous places. Brilliant time – The crack was good.

Slideshow movie of a brief vacation to Yosemite, a little after mid April. Spectacular, stunning and soul-stirring, as expected.

Kim, Anna-Louise (Lulu), Amelia-Rose (Mimi), and I caught the 2008 San Jose Jazz Festival on a nice, 10 August afternoon. It was a lot of fun.
